Mimi Sashimi is known for powerhouse show-stopping looks and a warm, engaging presence that turns every show into a memorable experience.

Mimi Sashimi brings together something perfectly suited for Drag Brunch Melodies: theatre, fashion, drag—and a voice meant to be heard live.

Born and raised in New Jersey with family roots in Oahu, Mimi grew up immersed in theatre and musical productions. She also learned to sew from her grandmother, eventually finding another creative outlet in cosplay. At 18, those worlds of performance and costume came together when she began doing drag.

But there's another side of Mimi that audiences don't always get the opportunity to experience: She's a live singer.

In her interview with Thotyssey, Mimi discussed her desire to perform in an all-live singing show—making her the perfect host for a brunch built around actual live vocal performances.
Beyond performing, Mimi has also used drag as a platform for community involvement. As the then-reigning Miss PrEP Jersey Shore, she spoke about viewing titleholding as an opportunity for leadership and advocacy, including promoting HIV prevention and helping arrange rapid testing at performances. She has also hosted recurring trivia events at Paradise.

Now Mimi Sashimi & Friends are bringing the music to Easton.
